Scuffy The Cat and Friends.
Scuffy The Cat was first created as a drawn cartoon some years ago. This cartoon then provided the inspiration for the clay figure for the stop motion animation by Bow Tie Bear Animation. He is a very mischievous cat, who delights in playing tricks on Ted The Dog whenever he gets a chance, and on anyone else around. However sometimes the tables are turned, and Ted, Higgins or Jasmine get the upper hand. Scuffy has big dreams and a vivid imagination. He is generally happy and cheerful, trying to see the good in everything. Scuffy likes strawberry jam and sausage sandwiches.
Scuffy's first animations were in stop motion where he is made from a wire armature, with a clay body overlying this. His mouth does not move as generally, cats do not talk and he is made of clay. Scuffy's Friends
Ted The Dog.
Ted is a classically trained actor . Scuffy refers to him as his dogpal. Ted is sensible and organised. He tends not to take too many risks. He is a little bit older than Scuffy, and acts as a big brother to Scuffy.
Higgins The Mouse.
As well as being an actor, Higgins trained as a an engineer before stepping into the limelight. He is a bit of a geek and is very good at inventing things and knows lots of facts and figures. Sometimes he joins in with Scuffy in playing tricks
Jasmine The Cat.
Jasmine is Scuffy’s girlfriend. She is very sporty and likes the outdoors. She is very mischievous, just like Scuffy. She is just as happy going shopping with Amy as she is helping Higgins with his latest invention.
Douglas the Panda.
Douglas is Scuffy's Friend. He ia a bit cynical and can sometimes be quite grumpy, especially if he can't get any donuts and coffee. His girlfriend Amy keeps trying to change him to be more like her. "The next thing you know, she'll be wanting us to dress the same," says Douglas.
Amy The Panda.
Amy loves shopping and having a girly day in the spa with Jasmine. She is very cheerful and optimistic, although she gets a little frustrated with Douglas when he just wants to sit about eating donuts and drinking coffee.
Hendrix The Polar Bear.
Hendrix is seriously cool, and not just because he lives on an ice floe at the zoo. He spends his time playing his electric guitar, lying back and dreaming of his hero, Jimi Hendrix.
